Zevij-Necomij has been using DocTrails for over 10 years as an advanced messaging platform.
Zevij-Necomij is a purchasing organization for the technical wholesale trade and the hardware trade. With a turnover of over €500 million, Zevij-Necomij is therefore one of the largest procurement organizations in the industry. Zevij-Necomij has been working with EDI for almost 25 years of which the last 10 years have been very active. Communication was via FTP and the X.400 network using different software packages. The number of file formats was limited and Zevij-Necomij was also dependent on third parties to adapt them. The main outstanding wishes were paperless invoicing and being able to send Pricat messages. To achieve this, Zevij-Necomij therefore chose D Soft's DocTrails solution. Currently, some 40 wholesalers with a total of 540 branches in the Netherlands and Belgium are affiliated with Zevij-Necomij.
Zevij-Necomij is a frontrunner in the field of paperless administration via EDI. This does not only mean that the administration of all procurement that goes through Zevij-Necomij is extremely fast, efficient and cost-saving. It also means that Zevij-Necomij has access to enormous amounts of data. Via Zevij-Necomij's Business Intelligence tool, very interesting information can be generated from this. For both affiliated wholesalers and suppliers. Because the administrative processes run so smoothly, many members choose to have the invoice flow for orders run through Zevij-Necomij as well.
All documents in the file format can be sent to their own system. The EDI Portal takes care of converting these documents into the recipient's desired format. All structured formats and channels are supported. This allows Zevij-Necomij to communicate with any ERP package or other administrative software capable of importing and/or exporting business messages. The use of the EDI Portal is free of charge for all companies affiliated with Zevij-Necomij.

Zevij-Necomij is using DocTrails and DocFlows to further digitize the supply chain. The DocTrails portal converts documents to the recipient's desired format and supports all structured formats. DocFlows selects the candidate with the highest score and learns from that process.
